Ski Instructing is my hobby job - and I love the opportunity to guide Families through the process of how to have fun on skis! Skiing is a unique experience and I offer Custom Lessons, built to your needs. As the say "the Family that Plays together, Stays together!"
PSIA level 2 Certified
As a certified Professional Ski Instructor of America I study hard and stay up to date. It took me 5 years, and failing the 3 day exam 3 times. But Spring 2020 I nailed it with a perfect score! I have taken some interesting clinics - from Biomechanics and Movement Analysis, to Psychology of Skiing and my favorite clinic - the Stivot by the late Ron LeMaster.
Children's Cert 2
I passed the CS2 Exam in Steamboat on a poweder day! The highest accreditation specializing in children's instruction. The Certification involves Stages of Development, Learning Styles, identifying Multiple Intelligences, reinforcing learning via Motor Learning and Cognitive Development. Focus on Terrain Based Learning, External Cues and Play.
16 Years Experience
5 years at Breck and Beaver Creek, 11 years with Monarch. Family Privates is my specialty. From one on one movement analysis, to Family first timers - all have had fun as we learn the fundamentals of skiing!
Ages taught: 19 months to 85 years
Corporate Group Ski Lessons
A Group Ski Lesson is a bonding experience. I enjoy the opportunity to guide clients from various industries - Hi Tech to Health Care, Alumni Associations and Office Colleagues. Conquering the outdoors and gaining skiing skills while building lasting bonds.
A pair of skis are the ultimate transportation to freedom.
